The Alumnae Panhellenic of Tallahassee’s Scholarship Awards
Luncheon & Silent Auction will be held February 6th at 11 a.m. at the
Delta Delta Delta Sorority House located at 534 West Park Avenue
Each year the Alumnae Panhellenic of Tallahassee, Inc. sponsors a Valentine Auction and Brunch to raise money for its Scholarship Fund. This worthwhile project provides financial assistance for young women who are active local chapter members of the National Panhellenic Council at Florida State University. At our 2009 event, we awarded $3000 in scholarships to three deserving women.
Alumnae Panhellenic of Tallahassee, Inc. is a community organization composed of women that share the friendship and good fortune of sorority membership. All of these women are college graduates and are actively involved in the Tallahassee community.
This year, we are pleased to announce that Beth Langford, a Tallahassee resident and the newly installed Kappa Delta National President, will be the guest speaker. Beth is a graduate of Florida State University and has been actively involved in her sorority on a local and National level, as well as involved in the community, for many years.
Donations of merchandise or services to the auction will assist in making the February 6, 2010 occasion especially successful. This event continues to be an excellent advertising opportunity for local businesses. The deadline for donations is Friday, January 29, 2010. Tickets to the event are $25 per person.
