NPC in the News

National Panhellenic Conference executive officers have been highlighted in major newspapers in recent months, including a recent interview with NPC Chairman Julie Cain Burkhard in USA TODAY. The October article focused on philanthropy and how groups donate their time and service to community-based events. Burkhard commented on the engagement of college campus chapters. She also was published in The Times of Northwest Indiana writing about the same topic and reminding Hoosier readers that collegians and alumnae are responsible for donating millions of dollars and service hours annually to worthy causes across the country.

NPC Treasurer Jane Sutton was featured as a guest contributor in the Miami Herald addressing the need for anti-hazing education. Sutton wrote about National Hazing Prevention Week in September when member groups promote a hazing-free environment a nd she also highlighted the first annual report of the anti-hazing hotline.
